Following the recent acquisition by SPX Corporation (“SPX”) (NYSE: SPXC) on the 3rd of August 2021, Enterprise Control Systems Ltd (“ECS”) shall become part of SPX’s Communications Technology (“CommTech”) platform within its Detection and Measurement segment. ECS’s expertise in encrypted data link systems and RF countermeasures is seen as a perfect fit with the high-value RF monitoring, detect and locate technologies and products of SPX’s TCI business.
Headquartered in Fremont, California USA, TCI, a subsidiary of SPX, monitors, analyzes, and manages the RF spectrum. TCI solutions provide spectrum-monitoring, direction finding (DF) and communications intelligence (COMINT system) capabilities including drone detection system capabilities, employ geolocation and sophisticated signal processing to detect and locate both drones and their controllers.
