This jailbird is really in the weeds.

Amazing video footage shows an Ohio jail inmate catching a package dropped from a drone — one containing a contraband cellphone and marijuana, according to authorities.

The inmate is one of eight seen in an outdoor exercise yard at the Cuyahoga County Jail complex in Euclid when he walks forward looking up at the sky, following something off-camera for several seconds.

He almost trips as he darts forward to try to catch the small black parcel as it drops from the sky, missing the catch.

The unidentified man quickly throws an orange jail shirt on top of it to conceal the package, walking off as his fellow inmates look on nonchalantly.
